Research interests
Immunostimulatory biomaterials
Safely delivering fragile biomolecules such as antibodies, peptides or cytokines to enhance immune responses in (cancer) immunotherapy.
Electrohydrodynamic processes
Efficiently encapsulating small molecules and biomolecules using electrospraying and electrospinning to improve therapeutic efficacy and patient acceptability.
Protein, peptide and polymer drug delivey
Looking for innovative methods of delivering biomolecules using advanced drug delivery methods.
Localised drug delivery
Exploring innovative methods to deliver therapeutics directly to the site of action.
This includes formulation of drugs for convection enhanced delivery into the brain and development of drug-eluting implantable materials.
